Black Boots

Black boots are a common footwear option. In fact, black leather boots have existed since the ancient times. The color was in pretty standard use for much of the Roman Empire.

In more recent times, the color of black boots is just as commonly chosen for work as it is for fashion. For instance, they are required for a number of police and military jobs. Caulk boots are also frequently sold in black, as well as other black steel-toe safety boots.

Black boots come in pretty much every style. This is true from lace-up to rubber to thigh high. The color is viewed as both timeless and slimming, hence its widespread use.
