Rain Boots

Rain boots are designed for water resistance. These may be useful for areas which always experience cold weather, or simply as seasonal items. While their design works generally to keep feet warm and dry, some styles may be designed as covers for other shoes.

When selecting rain boots, it is important that they are created from reliable material. This is true of both water resistant leather options as well as rubber choices. The most reliable material for soles is rubber as it offers good traction for wet environments.

Rain boots may or may not be especially designed for cold weather. That is to say that some will include a warm, insulating lining on top of the water resistant outer surface. These are most popularly seen during winters in Canada.
