Suede Boots

Suede boots have a soft and luxurious texture. The material is actually a type of leather. Unlike normal leather however, it is napped. This means that it includes a fuzzy, raised surface. It does not utilize the tough exterior layer that standard leather does.

Because real suede boots are created from animal skin, many people are uncomfortable with the use of the material. However, a person can have the texture without the use of animal products. Alternative fabrics may be used which have been brushed or napped to provide the same finish.

These faux suede boots may also offer additional advantages. For instance, some may be designed for increased durability. Increased liquid and stain resistance is an example of a specific extra quality.
