Winter Boots

Winter boots may emphasize different functions when it comes to their design. Some are designed for combating cold winters. In these situations, thicker designs are preferred for more insulation.

For warmth, some winter boots may include fur linings or embellishments. These may be created with actual fur as well as faux fur. The appearance can give a traditional, tribal, or natural look with realistic fur colors and patterns. Dyed and unnaturally pure options may speak more of luxury.

Other winter boots may be designed to deal with wet conditions. Water-resistant leather, rubber, and other materials may be used to accomplish this. While dryness and warmth are related, not all boots created to keep feet warm are designed for wet environments.
